DJ Black Coffee was born in 1976 in Durban, South Africa. His uncle, who was in the reggae music industry influenced him. Also, he joined Natal Tech to study music theory, majoring in jazz but unfortunately, he dropped out. However, Nkosinathi Maphumulo became a backup singer of Madala Kunene.

2. DJ Cuppy

3. DJ Oskido
DJ Oskido started by sneaking into Razzmatazz nightclub in Johannesburg while he was selling sausages. Afterwards, they formed Kalawa Records with producers Don Laka and Cristos Katsaitis in 1993. Later, they joined with other producers and DJs to form Kalawa Jazmee.
DJ Oskido joined hands with DJ Fresh, DJ Christos, Greg Maloka, and Vinny Da Vinci to form DJU (Deejays Unite) in the mid-2000s. DJ Mophorisa, also known as Themba Sekowa, gained music skills from his mother since she was in the industry. The DJ has produced six albums by 2019. 6. DJ Xclusive
DJ Xclusive is a record producer, recording artist, and a DJ from Nigeria. He was born in October 1980 in England. Currently, he is working with the famous label, Empire Mates Entertainment. He started his music career in 2003 by performing at several nightclubs such as Aura Mayfair, Jalouse, and Penthouse.
In 2010, DJ Xclusive won the World Best DJ award from Nigeria Entertainment Awards hosted in the US. Besides, in 2011, he became the resident DJ of Cool FM. Finally, DJ Xclusive featured at the Big Brother House party in 2013.
7. DJ Pierra
Pierra Makena also known as DJ Pierra is a Kenyan disc jockey, actress, and TV personality. She began her DJ career in 2010 and currently she is one of the highest-paid female deejays in Kenya. Besides, she is one of the most sought after DJs across Kenya and Africa at large.

8. DJ Aroma
He is a Ghanaian disc jockey who was among the top ten DJs in Africa in 2019. First, DJ Aroma is the resident DJ of the annual Detty Festival that takes place in Ghana. Secondly, he won the Radio DJ of the Year Award in 2020 at RTP awards.

Nana Kessewa popularly known by her stage name, DJ Kess is a Ghanaian disc jockey. She discovered her DJ talent while she was in her Senior High School at Archbishop Porter Girls, Takoradi. In those days, she was the school’s official DJ; hence, she was inspired to be a professional DJ.
DJ Kess has worked as a club DJ at Bella Roma Club and Osu-Accra on Fridays. Also, she was a video DJ at Airtel Magic Moment that aired on ETV on weekends. Finally, the female DJ has won the Best Female DJ award in the Ghana DJ Awards two times.
